About: Steffen Bueffel defines himself as a Social Media Expert with a focus on crossmedia and social media strategies in the sector of news media corporations. After working as a professor and researcher at the University of Trier from 2001 - 2006 he is now a freelance social media consultant, researcher, Information Architect and blogger. He holds a MA in Media Studies and has published several research papers on crossmedia, social media and networked journalism.
