Thomas Huhn
About: Serial Entrepreneur and OpenID Promoter from Germany focused on Identity 2.0, Lifestreaming, Attention Data and the Semantic Web.
I'm launching http://lifestrea.ms at the end of the week and I'm interested in getting some earlystage feedback from interested web 2.0 people by showing them a personal demo.
lifestrea.ms aggregates information from the world that surrounds you personally, and distributes it to your private or public networks (friends, family, local, etc. according to the XFN-standard).
From there you can re-distribute, forward, comment and trackback/pingback to your contacts inside and outside of lifestrea.ms.
Each of your seven personal profiles can be public or private (means only visible to the members of this network, e.g. your family) and shows status updates, blogposts, ausio, video and images from inside and outside of lifestrea.ms.
To get you up and running we not only import your friends from mail or social network accounts, but we also keep your contacts in our database and inform you every time one of your friends registers with lifestrea.ms (if you opt-in for that).
These are only a couple of basic concepts and features - there's much more under the hood like auto-matching people with collaborative filtering mechanisms by aggregating their attention data (if you opt-in), ajax-auto-updating realtime-lifestreams, threaded discussions about incoming rss-news, pinging back blogs from posts you read etc. etc.
I'm looking forward to meeting people that would like to discuss how this is all related to the latest developments like OAuth, OpenSocial, Microformats and Portable Social Networks.
