Yoav Andrew Leitersdorf
About: Mr. Yoav Andrew Leitersdorf has been a successful entrepreneur, investor and advisor in the technology and new media fields for the past 15 years. He is the founder and Managing Partner of YL Ventures, a venture capital fund that he designed based on his own experiences as an entrepreneur, with a unique strategy of achieving short-term, medium-sized exits of technology companies via strategic acquisitions.
Mr. Leitersdorf is the cofounder and was the Managing Director and CEO of Movota Ltd. (London). Movota is one of the world’s most innovative mobile service providers for TV and radio broadcasters. Mr. Leitersdorf led Movota's foundation, strategy and development, and negotiated its multi-million dollar trade sale to Bertelsmann AG, Europe's largest media conglomerate.
Mr. Leitersdorf is the cofounder and was also the chief technology officer of ExchangePath Ltd. (New York). ExchangePath is a credit-card based micro-payment and peer-to-peer online payment system. ExchangePath was acquired by internet conglomerate CMGI for over $25 million. Whilst at ExchangePath, Mr. Leitersdorf also developed critical authentication software for ICQ, a leading instant messaging platform that was acquired for $407 million by AOL.
While attending business school, Mr. Leitersdorf worked as an associate at Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham Ventures (New York), where he gained valuable venture capital experience. Whilst at Draper, Mr. Leitersdorf led Draper’s wireless deal flow in the North-eastern United States and Israel, sourcing and evaluating hundreds of opportunities and working closely with the Draper principals through all stages of the venture investment process.
Over the years, Mr. Leitersdorf has consulted other early stage companies in the following industries: wireless telecom, consumer electronics, electronic payment systems, interactive media and gaming, eCommerce and enterprise software. Early in his career he founded and was CEO of PcEntertainer Magazine, the world’s first online multimedia magazine publisher.
Mr. Leitersdorf holds an MBA from Columbia University (beta gamma sigma) and has studied International Business at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has three registered international patents.

Yoav,
