The users are connecting their computers, building a worldwide, distributed web search engine. No centralized index and crawler are required anymore. Every web page visited is automatically included in the distributed index of the p2p search engine. FAROO uses an attention based ranking.
With our Open Business modell we share up to 50 % of the revenues with our users.
FAROO was selected as finalist of the TechCrunch40 Conference in San Francisco.
